69 nova cowl tag Question
Just wondering on a 69 nova which has a paint code of 57 (Fathum Green) and then a E next to paint. Is this for a green vinyl top? Also has a G and an 1 after the date code. Is the one for the vinyl top molding if so what is the G?

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
E is parchment.

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
What color is that?

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
Parchment is White, that is a funky combo, Fathom Green w/ White Vinyl top

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
The G is for green interior paint. The one is for one level of exterior trim. Probably bright moldings around the windows. Earl

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
It has green cloth interior also? I think the code was 742! That has to be one odd color car and it might be a BB car to boot. No paper work https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

I would take that over Gobi Beige and Gold any day! LOL

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
I've seen some weird BB Nova combos, almost bought a 70 L78 car that was Astro Blue with Parchment Vinyl top and blue bench interior, pretty rare

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
Ok so you guy's are almost talking me into going to look at this car. The car has no documintation, it has the BB heater box and the original 12 bolt BN coded. The car is a 9A built car. Missing the complete front end and original motor and transmision. It has clutch pedals but I think it was an originally an automatic. It still has the hole for the shifter in the column! On the floor inside the car I saw a BB 4-speed crossmember. What automatic would come with the BB nova's only the turbo 400? It will need a trunk pan and a small patch panel in each front floor pan. From the pictures the quarters and doors look good. What do you guy's think it is worth. I know it is hard to tell without pictures?

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
Big Block Nova auto car will be a turbo 400.. Car might be worth a grand (or couple grand)??? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif... Hard to tell without seeing it.. Sounds like lots of work to make it back to original and correct if thats what your after..

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
I gave it some thought last night and I am going to pass. So I figured I would post some pictures of the car. It is listed under the NY craigslist (hudson valley). It was on e-bay and the reseve wasn't met. I think it got one bid of 2500.00. He is looking to get 4500.00 for it. I don't know this guy just trying to pass it along to someone that might be interested.
This is the link! http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/796425628.html Jason |

Frame rails look good but it will need a trunk pan!

Re: 69 nova cowl tag Question
Has the 4 speed hole for the speedo cable, I bet someone swapped the column.
