Mike, I'll be there Friday afternoon after 3:00 pm with Carl hanging out.. Gonna maybe bring Frank's Chevelle for that cruise down Lake Rd. if it does not rain. The weatherman is calling for 50% thunderstorm chances.. They are supposed to run old movies in the parking lot of the hotel after dark Friday nite on a large screen and make it like an old drive inn movie setting..

Don't know yet about Saturday won't be off work til 3:00 PM and the show wraps up around 3:30 or 4:00.. Might be not worth going on Saturday due to getting there too late.. My buddy Frank will have the Chevelle there all day..

Sorry to hear about the broken trailer. If you need tools or something, let me know. I live locally and plan to show up tomorrow with Mike (M22Mike) and Grady (1969GRB) around 12:30pm to 1:00pm.

See you guys tomorrow, it should be an excellent show.

Nice show with a good cross section of Chevelle's.

This first shot is in the parking lot of the Bomber squadron resturant just off Cleveland Hopkins.
That is where Phil "Woj" and myself met up with Grady.Phil drove his not restored 69 Black ss 396, I drove Phil's 69 Malibu, also un restored O/paint car.

Grady's COPO, will be at the sYc reunion https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Now some Chevelle's at the Holiday Inn in Westlake Ohio. We had two perfect weather day's, felt like So Cal except for a few puffy white clouds.

Don Sitts Auto Sales was one of the biggest sponsors of the show and Grady's car was their pick. The trophy said "Best of Show", but the emcee didn't really play it up much. I'm not sure why.

Nice pictures Mike, was great to see you again. And for the others I spent a while talking to (Grady, Phil, Al, etc.)... it was truly a day I'll never forget.

I was so happy to see Grady get Best of Show, he deserved it.

I snuck my car next to his this morning for a couple of pics... they do look cool together.

Randy's car is very well known in the Chevelle community. I think he's had a repaint within the last 5 or 6 years. Stunning car. As stated on his sign, he is the original owner. The story goes that he picked up his girlfriend (now his wife) in that car for their first date and he made her take her shoes off. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif That's how you make the interior last 40 years! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...-I-Have-It.gif

When Bill & I were dating he would not let me sit on the left edge of the seat (I wanted to sit there to be closer to him https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif), I had to sit "in the middle" of the seat. I guess that's why his interior looked this good when he sold it: (photo from Colin's website...thanks Colin!)
