Woodward Dream Cruise This Weekend
 

Anyone headed out to "my neighborhood" for the Woodward Dream Cruise?

If so, I will be working with Family Events on Friday and Saturday at the Eaton Park area, which is right in the middle of all the action at 13 and Woodward.

If you are in town, look me up! If you need a place to hang out, Family Events has a pretty decent deal going for nice cars. sYc Members welcome!

I am coming again this year.I will stay in Windsor on Friday and cross over the border Saturday morning . i will try and get up to 13th, it is a great day for seeing cars

My local contact (Jeff B) reports that there has been more activity already at night this week on and around Woodward, then there actually might be on Saturday............

That's right next to the park we are taking over. You'll be able to spot my car pretty easily; the Mello-Yellow AMC, slammed with my new polished Eagles (like Americans). It'll be right up front and I'll be running around the area Friday and Saturday.

Bob A, I'm not going to attend this year. I was there several years ago staying with my fellow Carlisle judge Jeff Betz. I need to go back, allow myself more time and check out the misc auto museums in the greater Detroit area.

Place was a zoo, but really kool carz! Seen Phil in his citrus 70 Yenko Nova! Looked great.

I was up there Thursday evening, hanging out at some Irish bar (Duggans?) overlooking Woodward. Great time!

I was at Woodward all day Saturday and had a blast. Drove up towards Pontiac and it looked like a drag strip with hundreds of cars smokin the tires up . I heard a number of 32,000 cruisers and 1.2 millon spectators. I followed a gold with black strip 70 Chevelle that the police escorted all the way up woodward,apparently a GM owned vehicle to this day a GM exec told me. -----I was with a friend in a modern day 2 style 62 Impala (two tone blue) and we parked at the Mercedes dealer at 16 mile. Walked all the way south of Birmingham but that was all we could do. Tried to take a drive south and couldnt do it. Too much traffic. Great day in any event. Anyone from here have a silver COPO Camaro with a Berger emblem on it??? Appeared very nice!..........Bill S

I seen that silver car and wondered if it was a COPO alao. I seen a great looking Burnish Brown 69 Z 28,guy said he owned it for over 20 years.
