Rolling Medows IL... A rare sight
 

I went to Rolling Medows here in Illinois tonight which is our Pavilions here in the midwest and two on my very good friends showed up with two very rare cars...this is something you may never again see in a lifetime...not 1 but 2 1967 Pontiac 2+2's both 428 HO 4 speed convertables! It is my understanding that less than 25 of these were produced in 1967 in this particular configuration with the high output 428, and 4 speed convert. Enjoy these pics because you may never see 2 of these parked side by side again!!

Are those the cars owned by brothers? I think I saw the blue car @ Biels Auto Upholstery earlier this year. I believe there were 3 of those cars at the Pontiac show in St Charles a few weeks back. Looks like the Friday rain curse has finally lifted.

I think you must be mistaken...according to the owner of the red 2+2, his car was the only 67 2+2 at the show. There were however a couple of 67 Grand Prix's there, that must be what you saw.

------ What a couple of rare peices those converts are. Those 67 2+2s are awesome drivers too. I had a Tahoe Turquoise 67 HO/4spd coupe and when you drove it 70mph it felt like 30mph. Matter of fact I left that one in the Chicago area when I moved in 1986. People who knew the car have told me they have seen it on occasion.........Bill S
