My Garage & Journey Tutorial
The Garage Icon is now on the toolbar. There are two options:
My Garage, and by selecting that you can create your own Journey and Garage. Only Contributing, Premiere, Advertising Members can create a My Garage and Journey, which is another benefit of becoming a paid member. By selecting Garages Link: https://www.yenko.net/forum/yenkox_garage.php?do=index you will see any members garage which have been created. There are only a few presently created. Select mine Steve Shauger and view My Garage & Journey I created. I am finishing up some instructions and will post shortly but it is pretty simple. It actually prompts you through the first part of Journey. Hope you like what is finished. Your input will help us and improve this application. I started mine and it's up as well. It's really easy to do :beers:
|
Thanks started building mine.
|
I started mine, too, but I am relatively computer illiterate so it will probably take me a long time to figure everything out, tutorial or not.
|
Well, I'm already frustrated and haven't got very far. Somehow a date got assigned to the pictures I wanted to post, and that date is not even close to correct. Can't figure out how to change it.

You can edit the date Bill.
Click on the date that you want to change and the calendar comes up. Then change the date :headbang: Attachment 252931 |
I tried to do that and the calendar would not come up. Then I thought perhaps I should click on the 'pencil' (editing) icon first, then the date, and bingo - that did it. Thanks!
|
Weird, because clicking directly on the calendar works for me...Glad you figured it out
|
I will check the calendar out an duplicate. If anyone needs assistance LMK I will walk you through any issues. If any bugs are found I will note and get them resolved. I will say I haven't found bugs but there are some things that could be made simpler....
We really need at least a dozen users before updating and adding more features. Everyones feedback is encouraged and apreciated! |
I already have a thread going about my shop. Is it possible to put it in this forum?

You could create a dated event when you started the shop thread 2/28/18 and add some text describing the shop and your 5 year build thread and add a link like I did. I will find out if you can take all that info and manually transfer or port it over. My guess is it wouldn't be easy, but I'm not an expert but will consult with the programmer. I have attached three pics showing how you can add a link from anywhere that has a URL- Web address to your garage. You may have threads at Camaros.net or .org and link them as well. |
Latest problem in my garage....in my Journey, the May 18, 1970 post has two pictures that I mistakenly posted, but they do not show up there. Picture #3 is the only one I want to be there. They are all three the same photo, but #1 is a very large file size and #2 is a .bmp format, which is probably why those two are not able to be seen. Can #1 and #2 be removed somehow?

This is beyond awesome!!!! I’ll have to start on this next month whilst I sit in hotel rooms across the Hemisphere searching out for new projects. :3gears: To anyone not donating to this site, this should be your incentive. EXCELLENT WORK Steve!!!!:worship: Cheers Dave |

Bill was one of my childhood hero's as we lived in the same neighborhood as much as I could 7 days a week I would drive by his house in my 69 Camaro (that I still race to this day ) or on one of the different motorcycles that I had at the time as a snot nose punk kid probably trying hard to do a wheelie by his house so he would notice me which he usually did with a smile and a head shake but he was always a great guy...I have since come to be friends with him and his beautiful wife and they are still the same people that I tried to impress (50 yrs. ago) lol. I love reading these types of stories because it takes me back to my great childhood and to all of the guys like Bill and others that totally influenced me to do what I do today. Thank you, Bill, for being a big part of my childhood whether you know that or not! Hope to see you see soon!

Wow, thank you Tim for those kind words, Marilee and I are quite humbled! You might have been a snot nosed punk kid back then (weren't we all?) but you have distinguished yourself since as the successful businessman and avid drag racer that you are today.
