Ebay: 3932458 Pulley, NOS 302 Camaro Carb

On Ebay, no reserve - maybe someone here needs these rare parts. I will donate a portion of the closing price to Yenko.net if the high bidder is a SYC member. Thanks!

Based on original pulleys I have and comparing to repro pulleys I believe your pulley is a reproduction. The reproductions from years ago were very close but there are still differences from the original. Potential buyers should be aware.

Mark, I sent you an email earlier about your clarifications. As I said, I would be extremely surprised if this is a reproduction and would like to discuss details further.

I wouldn't call it a reproduction,but I wouldn't call it an authentic 1969 assembly line pulley either.
I believe that is a later assembly line & over the counter design pulley,(mid to late 70's),formed from different tooling then the earlier 1969 assembly line pulley.
That pump bracket is early 1970's & up..
Still a nice group of parts.

The real difference is the thickness and offset of the metal.
Easy to tell when you have it in your hand.
Got a picture from the side?

The pump is 1973, so that pulley has not always been on that pump.

I read that pump date as the 330th day of 1974,but untypically missing it's shift & plant code.

Tony wouldn't knowingly misrepresent anything. Once you guys figure it out let us know.

This is an original 458DA pulley. Notice the ring around the face about 1/2" from the OD. Also, the P/N is stamped from the front side and you can see the outline from the stamping tool or die. I also have several repo's and they do not have this ring or outline from the stamping die. Otherwise they look very good.

No we were both wrong - 1970 pump.

033 - 0 - 1S
Day of year - year - saginaw plant

The best way to tell a repro pulley, is from the side,
But I do see what you mean about the line (never noticed that) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

033 0 1S-Good call Jeff.
I see that now and that makes more sense.
I don't think this is at all a question about Tony misrepresenting anything.
I see this as a group of board members discussing and sharing openly. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
