Were the original owners Frank and Marie Barone?
Amazingly well preserved. |

Your friend is a little on the smallish side Just a wonderfully preserved piece of history and apparently very complete! I LOVE it! how does the undercarriage look?

Re: 1957 Mercury Colony Park wagon
What a fantastic car! I love hardtop, pillar-less '50's-era station wagons. I know Buick made them but didn't know that Mercury did too.

Re: 1957 Mercury Colony Park wagon
Wow. Love all the "Turnpike Cruiser" emblems, the clear plastic seat covers, and the Virgin Mary statue. Still the original CA plates. An AC radiator cap....would that have been OEM or a service replacement? Evidence of two trips south of the border....those alone account for many of the miles on the car. Those horizontal slide things on the interior door panels must be the door locks. Are those still the original tires? Very, very cool
The picture of the guy in the giant chair reminds me of an updated version of Edith Ann from Laugh-in |
