Yes, in '67 K19 smog was CA only.

These two Pontiacs are the same car.

According to Pontiac enthusiast/GM Design Center retiree Jeff Denison: some time after the tire test GTO was retired from service it was returned to Michigan and restored, and now resides in the GM Heritage Center collection.

I personally remember seeing this car sitting at the DPG during my temporary visits and subsequent years of working there.

JMO but cars like that are part of the downfall of NASCAR. I enjoyed watching much more when cars were actually closer to a factory offering. That thing is as much of a Mustang as my 2002 Nissan XTerra is.
I get all the safety stuff; that is great for the sport but can't they at least make the cars resemble the model they're supposed to be?
