I was going to use one or two of the electronic mice repellent systems.....

Please be careful with that engine on the furniture dolly. Those cheep wheels have been know to fail under less weight, esp after time. One shove and the whole thing is on the ground....Blocks don't bounce.

Good point I will add wood on the sides so it can't fall over.

Get yourself an cradle......you will need one when you transport the engine to the engine builder.
YOU CAN PROBABLY FIND ONE CHEAPER THAN THIS ONE.

I may need two as I may take both engines to the engine builder (may need some of each engine)

Dryer sheets work well and smell great to keep the mice and others out

I will add these two items to the car body, and look at a more serious anti-rodent effort in future.

seal up the firewall/floor holes, make it difficult for the little buggers to get in the body
