Just told this story over on another thread:

I have always liked those.

The day I got promoted to 8th level and got my (long awaited) company car I picked one out of the DPG development fleet - a red convertible - and drove it home for the weekend.

Ended up having my third child that same weekend; had to turn it back in for a Suburban so I could get everybody home from the hospital.

We had been out riding around in it and decided to go up to the top of South Mountain, but every time my wife got in that Camaro she started having contractions. Finally she had enough and asked that I take her to the hospital. Kerry Lynn was born later that day.

I was telling a friend of mine, back here in Michigan, the story.

He is a tall, lanky gentleman farmer with a dry sense of humor (I've told other stories about him here).

He said "that's funny. Every time I get in a Camaro I have contractions too".
