Found the noise .

My underhood has looked close to that. After my week hospital stay I had that and a nest with 5 babies under there. Between those squirrels using it for a dinning room, a birthing room and enjoying the soybean based wiring insulation for a snack not to mention the peak membrane on our roof, they have cost us thousands of dollars over the years. Needless to say I buy my .22 shells by the brick and have gone through three bricks in 15 years. They multiply more than rabbits!

I am not sure my sister still has a picture of this but will check. She had a business where she did catering and people would stop and pick up lunch. There was a small business down the road that would stop and get lunch.
One day the woman stopped just as I left (glad I didnt see this). She came out and her ranger would not start. Her brothers ran the business and they came down to see what was going on. They got to looking at the engine and there was a ball python wrapped around the block. They got a golf club and fished it out. The picture I saw was it going across the yard. They decided it would not survive outside so they corraled it and one of the brothers took it home. I am guessing it was 3 foot long.
The woman lived in an apartment and all we could figure is someone had let it loose and it crawled up beside her warm engine to keep warm and just hitched a ride to work. I think I would have died if I had been there and found that.

I removed about 300 acorns from my Studebaker truck at one time. Thank goodness I can park it inside now.

Is the pizza pic in this thread because it is so large?

Not only did they not have the weight distribution right, are they standing there next to the puddle of gas running out of the tank ??? :rolleyes2:

Lynn 02-05-2024 03:42 PM

That's what I was wondering.

Gas pouring out and all, he seems pretty relaxed for just putting his ‘69 Cat upside-down?
His right hand seems to be holding something under the jacket…perhaps a bottle of Hendersons?:hmmm:
:beers:

That's better than a pack of cigarettes during this situation.

It's the only way.

Somebody worked really hard to do that in the most difficult way possible.

I remembered Lee mentioning having a son. I found his name in some old posts.
Alex.
He was working a Red Robin back in 2021.

I'm not on Facebook but checking there for an Alex Stewart may lead to something possibly.

MANY Alex Stewarts on FB, but none I could narrow down to NM. I tried a general search like I did with Lee, but nothing popping out as a possibility.

I just checked and do not find any that are relevant. So either Alex does not have FB, or his details filled out ie city, or Stewart is just a screen name?

No luck....I looked but none in Albuquerque.
At this point I'm thinking that Stewart was not his last name...I also checked all of the Albuquerque obituaries as well and absolutely nothing came up. Unfortunately at this point I fear that Lee has passed away but I don't think that lee Stewart was his real name so we don't have any real way to find him or any of his family or relatives. If you're in heaven now Lee and can read this, thank you so very much for the countless hours of enjoyment you have given me from all the pictures you have posted over the last several years! If you have in fact passed away Lee....gods speed and rest in peace!

Ya kinda like this one.. I just can't distinguish if it's blue or red.

And maybe this has already been discussed...

67since67 02-15-2024 04:22 PM

Interesting that there is a '70 model B-body Chevy on the lot (far left in the pic) while Yenko is delivering new '69 Chevelle's which did not run past normal end of '69 model year production like the Camaro's.
Was there a back log of COPO inventory at Yenko Chevrolet waiting to be converted that stretched into the '70 model year?

dustinm 02-15-2024 09:29 PM

Could it have been a few leftover Chevelles? From a layman's point of view a 427 Malibu price might have been a tough pill to swallow?
