i know where there is a car identical to this. been sitting in a field for around 40 years. no idea if it is real or not, but i have looked at it up close and it has a 69 427/435 in it that is totally unmolested looking (does have headers on it). stripes are basically faded off the car now.

If you ordered a HiPo 289 in your 65 - 67 Mustang, you could not order A/C. The exception to this was the 1967 Shelby GT 350. But, you could have your dealer install it as was the case here. I have no idea how this would affect the warranty.

The fact of the matter is . . . ALL of the Sunbeam Tigers had the 260 V8. NONE had the 289 factory installed despite what many think or have seen.

The same for the 1970 Rallye 350. NONE had the W31 engine installed. They all had the L74 350/310 HP engine.
