There's a bunch of em throughout Chicagoland,seeing that they are assembled in Normal IL. is probably why.
Every morning I spot one,and every morning it's a different one too.

Made a travel stop in Normal IL today, noted a Rivian next to a Hummer EV at a traffic light within sight of the Rivian plant. I thought, stop light drag race??? But I was headed the opposite direction so wasn't there to witness.

We process metal for the auto industry. This week we did a trial for Rivian, they are planning to build 225,000 of them next year. Not sure that will happen, but that's what they're planning.

Got the same answer in the trucking business. "We lose a little on each load, but we make up for it in volume"...:hmmm:
I made good money working local sand and gravel 6-7 months and went OTR for 4-5 months over the winter to keep a little funding coming in. That ended in the spring of '08 with the economy in a tail spin and the price of diesel over $4/gallon. I told the carrier I was done paying him to haul his freight.
