Did you know . . .
The Challenger and the Barracuda are not the same size. The Challenger was longer at 191.3 inches to the Barracuda's 186.7 inches, and wider at 76.1 inches to the Barracuda's 74.7 inches and had a wheelbase of 110 inches compared to 108 for the Barracuda. http://s26.postimg.cc/twd084ep5/1970...mi_JS29_mu.jpg http://s26.postimg.cc/66nkjfgbt/1970...assic_barr.jpg Just an OBTW . . . in 1970 the Challenger (all models) outsold the Barracuda (all models) by over 27,500 units (83,012 versus 55,508) |

The 1970 Challenger had for the first time ever a car company's name on the reverse/backup lens. Originally there was great concern at Dodge that by doing so it wouldn't meet State Lighting Standards - but it did. There were no laws that prevented it. |
