The Elkhart Blue car is going through Mecum Kissimmee in January.

Shame they had the dealer install that luggage rack. I've never seen one on a coupe before and it's not attractive. Everything else about that car is so nice.

I don’t understand the need for this rack, as there is ample room in these coupes behind the two bucket seats for luggage for the one, or two occupants.

Plus I would think anything large strapped to that rack would impede on the rear view, not to mention having access to the fuel door.

PS, unless there was the option of a 36 gallon tank on this car that would make it very unique.

----Chris,,,AAMCO (the people who made those beautiful wood shift knobs) had a luggage rack that hinged at the top and bolted down to attachment pieces screwed to the rear bumper. So both the fiberglass and the bumpers were damaged. Not a very good idea, but at least you could get to the filler neck without removing all the stuff on the rack!....Bill S

I know these cars have fans, but IMHO, what a giant leap backwards from 57.

I don't know this firsthand but I have been told that they are a much better driving car than the '57, and with much better ventilation and other comforts.

----This very well could be the COPO that I saw on the truck being delivered to the Chevy dealership in Wellesley Hills, Mass. I went over there to see what they had in stock HP wise and the one Chevelle that was ordered by them was already off, but the rest of the load (all COPO's) went down the road to other dealers. The one I liked the best was silver with blue interior, blue vinyl top, and black stripe. Should have bought it but wanted a big block Camaro. Nobody makes good decisions at 22 years old!....Bill S

It's not White. It's Pastel Grey. Only a handful were painted in this color
