Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Dan,
Damn, I'm sorry. I already felt bad after I posted the comment the other day. I didn't mean anything bad posting it but thought about how it could be taken negatively after the fact. I may have a bezel I could hook you up with to get the original back up and running. The part that is dented is a thin sheet metal part. There is a more substantial bezel under it that actually looks pretty good on its own. I'm sorry I rubbed salt in the wound, Jason |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Jason,
Apology accepted.....we are all good. If you do happen to have a good decent bezel we would certainly be interested and appreciative. PLEASE EMAIL ME.....with what you may have? Thanks, Dan |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Love the stance.
Time to scoop the loop. |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Now that is one pretty "shovel" ...

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
I may have a extra bezel too....

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle

Mine is dated 1970 and is different. Maybe because its an 8 grand instead of 9. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps0a5b0581.jpg |

Perfect complement to the M/T Super Scavenger headers. I can't even imagine how incredible an L88 is going to sound being exhausted by those headers |

I have the same flange on a set of headers I just picked up, but I have to make the flange out of a turbo flange. |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
The collector is square four bolt, It won't be perfect but it will work until I can find some one with a water jet to cut out the matching flange, will post pictures of it later this week.\\

Thanks. I was able to pick up two turbo flanges that were the right diameters for $10 each from a guy in Texas. The mounting holes aren't the correct distance on center though, so I have to drill four new holes. Shouldn't be bad. I might weld the other ones closed and I might not. Here's what my headers look like and the flanges I picked up. http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...d%20Flange.jpg http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...202_200306.jpg |
