Elite Motorsports seem to be having some engine problems in the western swing...4 engines hurt last week and now another engine change at Seattle before Q3. Erica stepped in to get this car ready to race.

I think Yes...4 last week and two or more this week. Don't know what happened on the starting line with Erica when she just leap frogged?? Jeggie looks to lose the engine towards the end of his run...just blue smoke and a quick shut down.

I agree Sam, and they should be throwing tons of money into the engine program - when Bo can come out of nowhere and run with Anderson and Line while 2 time champ Erica is qualifying in the middle of the field (at best!)....it's an engine issue!

Well, she did great going a few rounds to the semi's right!! The Big Go is next at Indy and another chance to get the Dodge Dart running better before the 6 race count down. I will be at Maple Grove for the second race in the count down to see Erica race and get a "Slammers" press kit signed and give her a JR dragster picture that I think so doesn't have.

Bo is on the same team as Jason and Greg and runs K.B. power. Same manifolds..."Hogan" Lots of problems with Mopar engines this year...too many part failures!!! Sammy...get your tool box out and lets get them fixed up!! Dave 67 Nova Boy |

OR, maybe the Hemi is just NOT fast enough. Same motors correct Dave? Just fuel injection this year.

That's what I mean, Bo is a newbie compared to Jason, Greg and Erica - so it just has to stink to be running a Mopar engine when you know you'd rather be back with Chevy where your experience and skill is rewarded!

Both Jeff and Cody Lane (father/son) won their respective Comp Elim & Super Stock Elim FINALS at the rain delayed NHRA Northwest Natl's this past Saturday. Were not sure how many times a father/son have won at same Nat'l event ??? AND then Jeff came back on Sunday and WON the Comp Elim Lucas Oil Divisional (Pacific Raceways/Div 6) I'm one of the chief "flunkies" on the crew, doing whatever is needed !!!!!!! |

the hemis have been tough to figure out for years allen Johnson finally figured them out with carbs then now with the fuel injection its a whole new challenge, the Chevrolets port design, combustion chambers and valve angle just work a lot better natural aspirated, hemis work great supercharged.

No, I'm home in the shadow of mt Rainier.......close enough to Pacific Raceways, I can hear the fuel cars.
The cars I crew on Jeff and Cody Lane dont go to INDY. We did go to the Chicago race as we were in the JEG's All Star Race which Jeff won in 2015 (in Comp) Jeff and Cody Lane recently won COMP & Super Stock at the Seattle Nat'l Event.......Father & Son at same Natl Event and then Jeff the next day won the Seattle Div 6 Points race. Our next Div 6 Race is Woodburn,OR Sept 16-18 ?? and then Las Vegas Natl and Div 7 in Oct |
