Re: Barrett-Jackson 2004
[ QUOTE ]
Everyone will think their cars are worth more after watching this madness. I watched a nothing Dodge Charger sell tonight for over 70K. If it shines it sells. ********** It really is a fun time. [/ QUOTE ] Charley, It must be INSANELY fun to be there! I have watched almost every minute of it on SPEED Channel, but it must be much more exciting upfront and on top of the action. I waited all night to see the '70 Judge that's coming up. But the show ended at 11PM-- I'm hoping to see it auctioned today and see what it pulls in! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif I hope to be there next year -- not to buy... $$$$ = https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif But to enjoy the show. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif~GOAT72 Oh, and yes, I'm jealous! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...arleySucks.gif |
Re: Barrett-Jackson 2004
When the blue 55 Vette was up on the block, I could have sworn I seen Phil Boris standing beside it? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif I know I am getting old and blind ( according to Mr. 70) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif but it sure looked like him? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: Barrett-Jackson 2004
I know someone who can probably tell you the name of the guy who assembled the Yale. He's big into bikes from the old boardwalk racers to current prototype GP bikes. He's an ex. (at the moment because of a major wreck at Daytona 2 or 3 years ago and doctors won't sign his papers yet) GP Bike driver, collects all kinds of bikes, has several one of none factory GP racing bikes, sold stuff to Jay Leno. Rides the old stuff at nostalgia events for owners who want them used, etc. Has a bunch of old NSU bikes, etc. I'll ask him about Yales.

Re: Barrett-Jackson 2004
Charley, Do you know if Ed's COPO Chevelle met the reserve? I don't think the COPO Camaro had a reserve but I think the Chevelle did. Thanks for keeping us up to date!!!
Thanks, Chris https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
