Re: Looking for a few 1969 L89 Chevelle`s for MCACN's
Hello fellow L89 Lovers.
I have discussed with a few people the Frost Green 1969 Chevelle SS 396 L78/L89 Convertible in CARSINBARNS. I have a goal of getting one Barn Find L89 to MCACN but they are so few and far between my options are limited. Does anyone know the owner of this L89?. Re: Looking for a few 1969 L89 Chevelle`s for MCACN's
Wow wouldn't that be something to find this car. Ryan this would be the barn find of the century. Far as I'm concerned anyway. If it was mine it would be parked in my living room and I'd sleep next to it.

Good one Mike. This is as good as it gets for barn finds. Ryan |
Re: Looking for a few 1969 L89 Chevelle`s for MCACN's
I seem to have really poor timing as far as MCACN is concerned. Had you guys been soliciting L89 barn-finds last year, I could have brought this project... my Fathom Green / green bench 4-speed L78/L89 that was flipped on its lid very early in its life and sat that way for many decades. It still wore its original paint and scars until last fall.
http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...pse21f1517.jpg After years of me encouraging my body-man to finally move forward on this project, the car just underwent some serious surgery to receive a new roof panel... and a full resto will follow (as his time and my money permits). Had I known about the MCACN L89 display, I could have easily left it another year and brought it in its original as-found condition. My bad! |
Re: Looking for a few 1969 L89 Chevelle`s for MCACN's
Not your Bad - Helmut......I for one would have changed your mind....as I am VERY PLEASED that work has finally began on this Special Chevelle. Now do not let it stop
Do tell the story of how the previous owner flipped the car Dan |
Re: Looking for a few 1969 L89 Chevelle`s for MCACN's
Such a cool car.
It needs to be brought back to life. Don't sweat the display, but please do attend. Ryan |
