Yes it had the console and U shaped shifter .We pulled the console and tried to use the original shifter , but it was too clumsy, so we made the change to the Pontiac unit .

This is really neat. A Hurst Ram Rod for a 3 speed. Not a bad buy it now price at $425.

Nice, I happen to have ( somewhere) the same exact shifter for a three speed that's never been out of the box.

I got a lead on some Hurst shifters at the Jefferson swap meet, and it turned out pretty good... Crash
