Any fans here for this show? Lee's hand is up. They made a newer version using CGI instead of puppets. Good show. You can find it on Freevee which is a no charge (with ads) streaming service.

Did anyone ever think that these would someday be valuable collector vehicles bringing $100K?

This is the largest tow truck available - 100 Ton M100. The front 3 wheels do the steering - first of its kind.

1938 Phantom Corsair

Built on an extended Cord 810 front-drive chassis, the Corsair was designed and commissioned by Rust Heinz, a ketchup heir whose true passion was automobile design. While it weighed more than 4,600 lbs with its Bohman & Schwartz-built bodywork, top speed was a claimed 115 mph due to its aerodynamic shape. Heinz intended to put the Corsair into limited production, but his death in a 1939 auto accident ended the plan. The single prototype now resides in the National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada.

I think we have a contender for Mark's "Valiant" award...wow I want to throw it on the floor and step on it.

Have to agree with Mitch.... and Mark.

If it isn't in the GM Heritage Collection, it was probably destroyed (which is what I am guessing happened to it).

As far as the boat - that may have survived. But I have no way of knowing that. You would have to contact Gaylord - if they are still in business.

I believe it's there, faintly see lines. Is this a green car, maybe black stinger??

It sits way too high, especially at the rear.

I have a junk buying problem.

Went on a 2,200 mile round trip to Omaha to buy three Glastron Carlson BBF jet boats. Now I own 4 of them.

I also bought a 50' wedge for the trip.

I sure wish I still had the HO Cummins Ram dually I traded in on the F250 gasser this spring.

Truck did great with the exception of needing two additional rear wheels and more rear suspension.

I'll take the Copper/Yellow one. My Dad bought this one new in '77 and I got it in about 2005. Unfortunately, it had the ill fated 470 and I sold it several years later. Half of a Ford V8 just wasn't my thing.

Goodwood Green 1967 Corvettes universally had only white stripes. I’ve never seen of or heard of no stripe on a 1967 427 Corvette.

Yep, drove past that a number of times in the Pete. Years later, we did go to Omaha for a getaway, but she wasn't interested in seeing the train display...:frown:
We did go to the Doorly Zoo and the old town area of downtown, with the board walks and the sculptures of buffaloes running thru the streets and buildings.
