This was the concept car that got the new Corvette body style approved. It was supposed to premier for the 1967 model year but made it's appearance for the 1968 instead. This is a non-running car. It was destroyed. https://images2.imgbox.com/ab/a0/bx03ERcI_o.jpg This was the fully operational model that hit the show car circuit and that Bill Mitchell actually drove on the street as his own personal car. It no longer exists because it was morphed into the Manta Ray: https://images2.imgbox.com/3c/9a/toAnVKhw_o.jpg So the Mako Shark II Show/Concept cars no longer exist. |

Bob Perry (deceased) had the Hell on Wheels Go Army Tank. Prior to that he had the Fugitive Corvette. He used to test drive it on a local street Ruthrauff Rd. in our neighborhood in Tucson with no body on it when i was a teenager. His driver was a guy name Kenny ? He had a 68 Dana Camaro. The fastest car I ever road in and drove at that time. Last I heard that car was in Mexico. Would love to have it back.
