I was lucky that he never minded me 'borrowing' his cars back then.

Philly's collapsed I-95 bridge is set to reopen in record time thanks to NASCAR

Quote:

Philadelphia’s famous for a lot of things, but the City of Brotherly Love probably wishes it wasn’t getting attention for the recent Interstate 95 bridge collapse that has left many on the East Coast wondering how they’ll get from one place to another in the already congested urban area. Highway crews are scrambling to reopen the exceptionally important bit of interstate, and they’re getting help from nearby Pocono Raceway’s Jet Dryer.

Though the problem was initially estimated to cause problems for weeks or months, the crews have already laid asphalt and are working on signage. The Jet Dryer, which is used to dry racetracks, will help dry the road to prep for painting and will clear debris to facilitate faster work. It's aboard the red truck you see in these images.

Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro tweeted, "To rebuild I-95 on time, we need 12 hours of dry weather to complete the paving and striping process. With rain in the forecast, we reached out to Pocono Raceway for help.”

Pretty sure the deer was already dead when some joker put the balloon on it.

So, safe to say: "No animals were harmed when prepping this corpse for a photo op."

Found the link to the one I left out the other day:

Those people on the Indian continent make anything out of scrap and keep using it.

I've watched some vids from there before. One with a guy rebuilding a broken rear axle on a dump truck, which they grossly overload until something breaks, then fix it and keep going...:cool2:

Yeah, but it's still kind of sick humor...

Blame my Mom. She STILL at age 94 says: "I guess I just have a sick sense of humor."

My Dad, who had a lot of good qualities, had NO sense of humor. He was often embarrassed by my Mom. Mom kept a collection of dirty jokes typed out many years ago on a manual typewriter. Haven't seen that collection in years.

No, I found it disgusting that people will stoop that low to do that as a "gag/joke".
Same with your free cat. Really don't need to see that on here.

Lynn 06-24-2023 05:49 PM

Well Mitch, at least we finally found SOMETHING where you and I are not quite identical. I was starting to wonder.

I would love to see your Mom's list of dirty jokes... :naughty:

I do have a smutty sense of humor.
