My 67 L78 ElCamino reportedly had an SS hood added at the dealership when new. The original owner was the body shop manager at the dealership and his widow said he painted and installed it when he bought the car.
We painted the SS hood when the car was painted (along with the NOS flat hood that is on the car now). I planned to install it after showing the car a few times with the "right" hood, but can't bring myself to change it! |
