IT IS TYPICAL FOR THE FRAMES TO BE MORE RUSTY TOWARD THE REAR. Yes, the a-body frames (depending on what GM type) either had 2 or 4 rubber isolator frame pads.....no through bolts. MAKING PROGRESS.....LOOKING FORWARD TO SATURDAY [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img] Dan |

Jamie was committed elsewhere so just Dad and I, we didn't have our photographer:-(
Sunday this week (busy time of year) I hope to have the body free from the frame with a 2 X 4 in between at each corner so we can make sure nothing is still connected......Dad is building a rolling cart to hold the body so we can put it as far in the corner as possible. Next Saturday we hope to get the body on the cart...... Ryan |

Sorry bumpers will have beautiful brackets and bolts and shine will have to be round two:-)
Disassembly is easy........ Any joker can take a car apart:-) We are buying baggies, labels, and sharpies daily:-) Stay tuned as I prove to myself I can bring this ol girl back to life!!! Ryan |

Hard to find a pit-free frame. This can be remedied with a high quality filler to smooth things out and fill in the pits. It makes a world of difference to pay attention to this detail (vs final coat over the pitting). Keep pluggin'! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif[/img] |
