The origins of "The Little Old Lady (from Pasadena)" stem from a very popular Dodge ad campaign in southern California that launched in early 1964. Starring actress Kathryn Minner, the commercials showed the white-haired elderly lady speeding down the street (and sometimes a drag strip) driving a modified Dodge. She would stop, look out the window and say "Put a Dodge in your garage, Hon-ey!". The song soon followed and Minner enjoyed great popularity until she died in 1969.

The story goes . . . Minner showed up at the audition dressed as "The Little Old Lady" and was hired on the spot. She toured many of the So. Calif. drag strips in her Dodge.

Like the 69/70 Mustang Mach 1, the Eliminator did not offer Chrome Magnum 500 wheels. These are the optional wheels:

The restaurant was founded by Howard Deering Johnson in 1925; in the 1950s, the company expanded operations by opening hotels, then known as Howard Johnson's Motor Lodges, which were often located next to restaurants. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, it was the largest restaurant chain in the U.S., with more than 1,000 combined company-owned and franchised outlets.

Howard Johnson's restaurants were franchised separately from the hotel brand beginning in 1986, but in the years that followed, severely dwindled in number until eventually disappearing altogether. The last restaurant, in Lake George, New York, closed in 2022.

They are "period correct" - from about 1980.

Looks like the Vehicle Dynamics Pad (aka "Black Lake") at the GM Milford Proving Ground.

I see that the photo that I randomly chose features a Scripps-Booth automobile.

As you might guess, Mr Scripps is local to me and his former mansion is about 2 miles from my house.

Among his other endeavors he entered into the automobile business with Mr Booth.

The cars had many advanced features and appealed to movie stars and other elite rollers like the King of Spain.

Groucho Marx was a Scripps-Booth owner and was fascinated by the automatic push button door opener, saying it was "sheer magic". That was the feature that sold him on the car.
