Is that pic a 70 Monte? Would SS454 have a black tail panel, or an emblem on the tail panel, that year?

1970 Chevelle/Monte reported options list shows 8 cars ordered with optional F70-14 red stripes, 2 with G70-14 red stripes, and 194 with G70-15 red stripes.

Only the 1971 Monte Carlo SS got the blacked out tail panel with SS 454 emblems so this one might be an 70 SS 454. Looks like it might have chrome valve covers too? Very cool picture Lee, thanks for posting.

I don't see any G70x15 red stripe tire option. Only white stripe.

I don't see any of the usual blocking/cribbing under it like most clay models have. It appears to be a rolling prototype. The Panther emblem is on the fender and a script on the trunk that apppears to be panther as well, even in all lower case letters, like the production models.
VERY close likeness to what was put into production 10 months later.
