That's right. I tried to get some of the assembly line look alikes around 1997 from him and it was already getting tough to get any product then. As I recall He was taking PF-25's stripping the blue off doing a white repaint and then sending them out to a screen shop for the Black imprinting.

Filters were still obvious repops, but at a glance-good enough. I suppose you could do a one off with a correct NOS embossed filter but that would be $$$.$$ easy when you are all done.

Chickened out on leaving the orig oil and filter on the car, drained the oil and changed the filter. Obvious from paint on edge of drain plug gasket that pan was painted with plug installed. https://www.yenko.net/attachments/390602-002.JPG
