Interesting. I have an acquaintance who owns a business for medical MJ where they connect patients with doctors, manage their applications for Med MJ, monthly appointments, etc., for $50/month. Last I heard, he had about 15K patients who pay that a month, so he's doing OK.

I went the extra mile and gave the professor all four names. :-)

Moses "Moe" Horowitz, Larry Feinberg, Jerome (Curly) Horowitz, and Samuel "Shemp" Horowitz.

Is this the car with the black nose? If so, it is a Judge. The last one made

I do love tomatoes. In salads, on sandwiches or just as a side dish - raw of course. But these are not how the original tomatoes looked like.

Modern tomatoes grow up to 100 times larger than the tiny ones first cultivated by Andean people thousands of years ago. Tomatoes' pea-sized predecessor still grows wild in Ecuador and Peru.

:haha::haha: Does this picture make my butt look BIG ?? :haha::haha:
It IS a cool looking car. I think it is a mistake for GM to drop the gasoline car and only make the electric, thereby forcing the buyers to purchase THEIR choice, as they have done progressively for many years now with colors, interiors and "package" equipment.

They should keep both for a time to see which one will sink or keep them alive. They could phase out the loser at a later date.

Al Bundy: "For the last time ladies; it's not the stripes that make you look fat. It's the fat that makes you look fat!"

On a more serious note: Do we know for certain that there will be no overlap? I thought the next generation was still going to have mid engine gas motor with electric motors at each front wheel. Not so?

Either way, we are definitely witnessing the true supercar era.

Those poor cars.

They are good looking overall, but - man! Those bumpers! You could sit and eat your lunch on those.

One of the things we mid 70's afficianados do is "tuck" the energy absorbing bumpers in an inch or more.

I've done a couple variations on my Chevelle, either by gutting the shocks and reusing the tubes (with the steel bumper) or presently using 1/4" aluminum flat stock to reposition the fiberglass bumpers.

Makes a big difference in the overall appearance.

Yup, with very few exceptions 1974 was officially the start of the slumber years.
And the bumpers were just one factor.

By way of reference: first pass in that car in 1978 was a 15.10.

I was going 14.90's by the end of the day.

A few years ago I broke the race motor and put the original 454 back in just so I could move it around and keep everything lubed up.

It occurred to me "...if I can drive it, I can RACE it!"

It went 12.20's with the original, unopened 90,000 mile smogger motor, presumably due to chassis/driveline mods, induction and exhaust changes, and weight reduction over those many years.

Naturally, there's a story here too:

I took that picture during a particularly magical race event. I was still in competition in two separate classes and it was getting down toward the last few rounds.

I was "round robin"-ing it, dispensing with one competitor and then immediately returning to the staging lanes for the next round of the other class. (The people in the staging lanes would holler "NEXT!" upon my arrival - lol)

I checked the oil real quick between rounds and saw this drip on the bumper. For those who are familiar with the television show "Stranger Things" - it made me think of this:

By the way - I spent all summer between my Junior and Senior years of high school riding the die grinder with a cutoff wheel, cutting all of the structure out behind the chrome bumper bar (both front and rear).

There was 60lbs of weight on each end of the car. IIRC I was able to get 45 lbs out of each door, removing the guard rail and any flat metal that did not offer any structure.

I'm glad I don't ever have to do that again: I don't have the time, inclination or energy anymore.

Did the same thing on my 454 powered Buick ...
