I was able to take a stack of Bone Stock and Modified Muscle Car Magazines to the original owners of my Cutlass S W31 tonight.

What a thrill !!!!

I also gave them a couple of the PSMCDR post card Donny Brass was handing out at MCACN 🙂

My Mom thinks so, and I trust her opinion :-)

Life is good, I am hanging out in Germany for a week of “work” and then I need to get a few mini projects on the go!!

Ha! That's funny as I say that "my mom thinks so" all the time.

Congrats on the ink in a great magazine.

Ryan1969Chevelle 03-08-2020 08:17 PM

Howdy folks.

I have been quiet on the progress front, for a few cold winter months.

I am getting spring fever, and want to get on the road!!!

I procured a couple 2021 items, for DAY-2.

15X10, and 15X8 ET Slot mags. Plus a P&G shifter with reverse lock out.

I sold a couple RamRods, one is going into the Smothers Brothers 1969 Cutlass S Convertible W31, 4 Speed Jim Waibel car, and one is going in a grey Yenko Vega that used belong to one of Nick Morocco’s friends.

I need to make a list and get going on a few overdue items.... I have lots of 4.33 rear end plans, I have lots of mailing magazine plans, i have lots of oil change, and fix dash lights plans, etc, etc and need to get off my butt!!!

Ryan W31

69 Post Sedan 03-08-2020 10:51 PM

You might want to think twice about using the P&G shifter. Dan R. had lots of problems with the one he had in his Chevelle. He couldn’t change it out fast enough. The Ram Rod is ten times the shifter....JMO

Otherwise, I like the other changes.....

I kept a RamRod!!!

I want to personally have these experiences :-)

I plan to restore and use Al’s 1973 plates one day. Crazy expensive as I have to pay full price as if I bought vanity plates to reuse his. 260 bucks.... one day!!!

I also have a few sets of Ontario 1969 plates which I could use....

TBD... probably a nice Christmas gift idea!!!

Gene Wray sent me a nice original 1969 option pamphlet.

I love this stuff!!

Ryan1969Chevelle 05-21-2020 11:57 PM

Cars and Zebras caught my first ever time on a drag strip!!!

I raced Charles Lombardi in his 409 monster!!!! (Later a frost plug leaked on his engine and he spun at least 4 times and hit the guardrail lightly. I was next up and backed the hell away for a while)

The under hood coverage is of Chris Smetana’s Powder Blue Holiday Coupe... :-) at least its a 1969 W31 :-)

The guy was nice enough to show my improvement over the weekend as my first run was a shakedown at best....

Amy (Beautiful, Cutlass Loving Wife) and I had a visit with the Stagers.

Physically distant Post Covid visit.

It was really nice to catch up and see how they are doing. Al spent some time in hospital but is home and being well taken care of by Lynn!!

It rained while we were there but it cleared up for the ride home.

I also took the family to my Father In Laws on Fathers Day.

The car is getting some enjoyable use and the RamRod shifter is just a whole lot of fun!!!
