Yes, what Dan said. We could unite the twins.

There really is no excuse not to bring this Beauty to NOCC......especially since you are soooooo close to Strongsville. What do you say :D

Very pretty car Sam.. You are a lucky man.

tunes 05-28-2017 12:53 PM

Still looks great Sam. I'll bet it put a smile on your face when you fired her up and put her in gear.

Mr. Chevy 05-28-2017 10:27 PM

Looking good Sam... Yours and Phil's car would look great together..

Thanks. Would love to hit the the Ohio Chevelle show. It's a VERY good one. August is chock o block for me already - will be out of town for 3 of the 4 weeks. My little sis is visiting with us now and asked to go for a ride and she really appreciates these old muscle cars and had a blast. There are quite a few car shows in the area that I would like to get out to. Can't wait!

Does this mean YES or NO? I like confirmation :D

Dan

enio45 05-29-2017 05:42 AM

Sam, i don't think you should take the car out....considering how old it is, you should probably roll that old thing back in the garage and cover it up so no one can see it....or better yet, send it back to me where i can at least keep it dry and covered....just sayin

:-)

NorCam 05-29-2017 12:00 PM

Or even better, send it on a holiday. To Western Canada where I would invite all 396 cubes into my home and give it an Irish welcome before sending it home.

It would then return home with an Irish blessing and plenty-o-miles. :)

Well here is my challenge: Driving it 340+ miles round trip is probably not going to happen (let the spears fly!!!). Yes I would let it get rained on but the possibility of breakdown on a major highway gives me the willies! So, I am left with trailering it. I no longer have a hauler nor a trailer. I will see what I can conjure up in the mean time.

Eddie - your reverse psychology/tuff love is so, so transparent. Not a bad tact tho!!!!!!! ;>)

What is 340 miles among friends.....good friends admiring your Chevelle :D

I am sure you can find a few local car guys that would love to help you trailer the Chevelle.....If I was local, I would certainly help you :D

Yeah Shaun, I heard that Eddie doesn't even know what he has out in his garage anymore as he hasn't lifted the car covers in YEEEEEEAAAAARRRRRS! He even confuses them Cramos for Feerawrees! You know, same profile and all!!! ;>))

m22mike 05-31-2017 10:31 PM

Last two posts.......:haha::haha::haha:

mockingbird812 05-31-2017 10:46 PM

It's ON!!!!!! Just worked out the initial details with Grady and my Chevelle is headed to Strongsville! I asked a standard battery of questions to determine sanity and Grady passed with flying colors! Can't wait!!

Of course you were.....any true '69 guy would not have missed all the 1969 Chevelle`s I had invited in 2013....that was a lot of fun.

Glad Grady stepped up and you and the Chevelle are attending....now we must have you and Phil park next to one another....after all, we have only been trying to have you two park next to one another for what seems like a decade.

Phil, let's do our usual photo ménage in the back of the hotel of the two cars together :D
Ryan....you stay out of that pool window....that picture still haunts me.

Sam, looking forward to seeing you and the Chevelle.

I wasn't the one who had a camera and 4 COPO's to shoot and instead ended up taking pictures of weirdos in the pool:-)

Ryan

PS: A nice addition to the photo shoot would be the Black-Red L89 (not a survivor)

Dave,

The only thing that would make our yearly event better.....is if you attended. What do you say my friend.....come join us. I guarantee you a great time :D
Please do not tell me you cannot make it....as you are going on a Cruise Ship :-(

Dan

DW31S 06-01-2017 01:47 PM

Dan, we booked a 10 day Cruise for this November while on board last year. One of these years, we'll book a cruise that starts on Sunday and I can fly out to Chicago for Friday and Saturday.
