Re: Backyard finds today
My take is that there must be something wrong with it such as a blown engine or tranny since it looks as if the car was left there before it ever needed fixing up-,it looks like the car has been sitting in the same spot since it was an almost mint late model car. When this car was parked,it wanst a basket case,it was a car that looks as if somebody was trying to preserve as a survivor and didnt know what they were doing.I would say that any damage on the car happened while it was sitting. The car had tarps both under and over it to seal it from the weather, and even the interor had signs that somebody was trying to kep the car fresh while it wasnt being driven, but after 25 years of sitting outside,no car cover in the world is going to preserve a car that well.I would say that back in about 1995 you could have taken this car and given it a coat of wax and it would have been a real nice car,but after another 10 years of sitting it is getting rough.I would say that within the next 10 years the surface rust will turn into holes and the rest of the car will fall apart as water gets in,so it is kind of a now or never deal.

All of these forth coming cars are in Tulsa and can be for sale, except for the yellow RS ragtop. I do not know if that one is for sale.

Re: Backyard finds today
whats up with the front lights on that white/black el-co?
|
Re: Backyard finds today
On the red 70 EC 396: it was a theft recovery and VIN was stolen, it still has the original 396. Been sitting 15 years and does not run.
He has the title but the VIN was taken off by the theifs. As is asking price $6,500. I suggest calling him if your really interested and haggling the price. |
Re: Backyard finds today
Creative lighting I suppose, not sure if anyone would really know how they came to be. I don't think the current owner would have done it.

I want the Judge....

Re: Judge and SS
I was questioning if it is a IV or III, but after looking at the interior shot a little closer I see it will be a III. You can just make out the A/C vent below the glove box door, and a lack of knobs on the kick panel for the ventilation. Blurry and unclear, but I think that will answer the question.
