On the Deuce Ad from Jeff City, MO; I believe this ad refers to a Citrus Green Deuce sold new at Riley Chev in Jefferson City, MO. The original owner sold it around this time and then tracked it down many years later and bought it back! The other 2 Riley Deuces were totalled, the orange one was titled once in '70, the blue one was never titled....

Do a search under the Minneapolis Star and Tribune from back in the 70's some time if you are bored. Back in the mid 70's there were TONS of high performance cars for sale in every Sunday's paper. I used to read it just for the dreams of owning one of them. Several Yenkos were listed over time.

I tried for Minneapolis ads Rick, specifically the MS&T but sorry and no luck. Digging deeper, it appears the Minneapolis papers have been scanned by NewspaperArchives which are a different group than the Newspapers.com folks I'm riding with although I may try them on next after this subscription ends. When I was in college in Pittsburgh in the late 60's, there were lots of ads from Yenko in the Press, selling wheels and short blocks, and I think, some complete engines.... been almost 50 years!

Reference the Pittsburgh press ad above. .the 67 Camaro L88 for sale..Kenny Hemphill was,a student at Penn State and racing a late model at Heidelberg Racetrack with his brothers..actually won't the season champion ship one year.Probably needed money for racing I think the family still owns an engine building operation .
