Re: Barrett-Jackson at Palm Beach......
although the gsx and the hurst olds cars that mr70 and dajudge referenced are fine pieces, those are not the ones in question, VERY good choices though. another clue, they were built for two years only. some people refer to the manufactoring division they were built by as the "father" of the muscle car! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Re: Barrett-Jackson at Palm Beach......
yes, actually it is an easy one. although some folks may not consider this as a " muscle era" car (big clue here). i have just started indepth research into these vehicles, although i've known about them all my adult life. to me they are indeed every bit a muscle car as anything out there. the powertrain components that went into making this car were outstanding! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

Re: Barrett-Jackson at Palm Beach......
I think you are referring to the 390 AMX cars??? I may have the years messed up, are they not 69/70 we used to have a very, very nice black 4spd car around in the 80's then it disappeared. And yes it was as fast as any of the heavy hitters rolling around.
