Although all the research I told you I had done did not result in any directory listing for Richard Chevrolet in Bellaire, OH, I just came across an original window sticker from 1967 I had in my database that proves the information you received from NCRS is correct:



Looks this was the dissemination of zone 13 dealer 687:
Richard Chevrolet - Bellaire Ohio
Riehle Chevrolet - Greensburg PA Inc. 1969
Star Chevrolet - Greensburg PA

Where is that zone and dealer code coming from, curious?
Did you try ordering the Chevy Muscle Docs report?

Yes, that info came from Chevy Muscle Docs for my 69 Chevelle VIN. But their data base did not include the dealer name and town.

Thanks for checking. I am assuming its a name that starts with an R in Ga or SC so as I have time I've been checking old paper ads thru out the region looking for clues.

hello i am new to this site and doing research on Vintage dealer tags.
i have 4 vintage dealer tags ranging from 1967 to 1974. Can anyone help in identifying the dealer name for my plates? I called the Ohio BMV and they said the purge all info after 7 years. Mine are all ohio dealer tages with a dealer number and a tag number and year. am i in the right place? Can anyone help? thanks andy
