Re: 69 SS nova big block car ????
It's been a while! Benjamin is a bit older now so I put him to work on his car. Over the last few years ago we pretty much finished the underside, and had the transmission and rear completely overhauled by Jody's Transmissions here in PA (well recommended) and got it back down on 4 wheels. This year we plan to pull the frame, rebuild and reinstall.
Kids grow so fast - I'm running out of time. Benjamin will be 10 this year! http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...ateardown1.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...ateardown2.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...ateardown3.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...ateardown4.jpg |

Looks great Marlin - reminds me of the car that my daughter and I restored when she was 14 (now 35!). Best thing we ever did for our relationship - she still loves cars too!

Nice to hear, helps alleviate my concern that after my best efforts the boys end up with a Honda, My little Danny is quite excited about his Camaro too, hard to get him out of it, |

I almost bought him a Subaru for school but he said he'd rather take the bus and train. Let them bust their knuckles on the car and they will be in it for life. and HAVE FUN ! Re: 69 SS nova big block car ????
Front suspension broken down, new suspension items pressed in, frame out, blasted - primed - high build & sanded, firewall almost done. Then it's time for some reassembly for a change, pics to come. Was planning on a bit more progress, but with this excellent weather - the Jr Dragster racing season has begun!
