Didn't get to do the black today. He got behind on other cars. Plans to do it tomorrow or Wednesday. Plans to return to me on Friday. I will probably get it next weeks. You know...crap happens :) Joe

Wow looking good there Joe. Nice to finally get paint done and get to the point of reassembly. To me, thats the best part of a complete redo. Putting it all back together.

Thanks Mike. Painter still plans on returning it to me Friday. We were having a discussion about the black on the tail light panel. I told him he was taping it with too much care. I'll show comparison pictures of others when he is done....Joe

These are 4 pictures of cars that have original paint. It shows that the GM worker was just trying to complete cars & not make show pieces when doing the blackouts. The silver car is probably the worst for accuracy. These pictures are what my painter has to work with. Some of you guys will recognize your own cars....Joe

The blue car was at MCACN. I don't know who it belonged to...Joe

Joe, I believe the blue car was owned by David Schroeder of Canada. I helped judge that car in the Vintage Certification at 2019 MCACN. A great car and so is the owner.
