I had an 84 Z28 w/ the HO 305ci, T5 and 3.73s. I always loved the dual snorkel. It did ok, but nothing to write home about. I loved that car otherwise. Sad part is, I still remember the VIN:
1G1AP87GOEN181444. I think it ended up in Mexico after I traded it in on a 93 Z28 in Carlsbad, CA back in 95/96. I'd love to get it back if it's still stateside though. It never showed up again on Carfax... https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5450/3...49fb2a45_z.jpg |

They are fun cars, I had to pull a car out of the back of the barn and had to move the 91 1LE Formula that was in front of it - so I took it out for a drive. :D

Yup, even three-ish decades later, they are still fun to drive cars. My daily is a six speed LS3, and although fast, I can't quite say it's more fun to drive than my IROCs.

Bigbirdxx,
I have a yellow 87 LB9, 5 speed, no T-tops, 42,000 mile survivor. I've owned it 21 years and always kept it in a climate-controlled garage. I'm in Lancaster, PA... not far from you. PM me if you're interested. Troy |

Since I consider this the unofficial IROC-Z thread....
I got another one, but this one found me - just one of those crazy things. Bought it last week from the original owner who lives 5 minutes from me and I never knew it existed. 17,900 miles. https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...65&oe=59A77630 https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...09&oe=59E72D68 Yes, it's carb'd. Yes, I flipped the air cleaner cover over..... :D |
Nice score on the Iroc Vert. Looks really well preserved and loved by original owner.

Wow, nice. Probably the best color combo for the IROC as well as the GTA's.
You don't have any of those do you, lol? |
