Re: Missing Muscle Cars
About the Z16 convertible,I was in tenn. buying some nos 67 chevy 2 otr panels and the guy shows me a 65 chevelle convertible and the motor that he states is a Z16.I didn't think they made any convertible Z16's.He stated that it was one of one, older drag racer, worked for TCI.He gave me a 1982 TCI partcipant shirt from us nationals still in the package. He was building motors for racing, had a engine dyno in the shop, motor cores everywhere.Could it have been real? This was about 2007.I might have his number,I think his name was Danny.

Now,decades later, the owner lives hermit like in the closed gas station with a rusted shell of an icon near by. I know of a few people who recall the early history and have seen the remnants, albeit unconfirmed by Grump before his passing of the real story.....Hmmmm any treasure hunters on the site ??? </div></div> couple picts after jenkins sold it... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...mpystoy2_1.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...ystoy21969.jpg |
