Great story and once again, hard work paid dividends.

Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
Unfortunately the motor was apart but I believe alot of the parts are still there. The original owner that sent the car to the body shop was local and the shop had remembered a few details. Also, the body shop and the owner were local to where the car was sold new.

Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
Nice work , even nicer story.
Im trying to chase down history on 67 Camaro but running into road blocks everywhere. Im close as I have some information but need to fill in the missing links. I too am chasing the cars original motor and trans however don't expect a result like yours. Any advice you could offer? |
Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
I would give you the advice to get on Facebook and get into every Camaro group and old muscle car group and put feelers out there with all of the info you have on it.

Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
Multi line plants usually used the GM code number for paint whereas the single line plants used color names/ abbreviations (lt blue)

Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
Mike has finished the restoration on this documented LS6 that I found. I have to say it came out amazing.
Thank you to everyone who helped with identifying this amazing car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics..._img958579.jpg |
Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle
Wow, that has to be the best color combo I've ever seen on an LS6, beautiful car.
