Maybe it's the new body style and redesign of the side exhaust. Looks good on a convertible. More like custom versus the prior "track look."

I don't find fault with 67 Mustang owners putting Redlines on their cars. Ford should have offered them as an option. 65 and 66 had the dual band redlines while 68 offered RWL.

Same thing with the 1970 Nova SS. Put RWL tires on them. Chevy should have made them an option at least if not standard like they did with the Chevelle SS. But then Chevy always looked at the Nova SS as their "Bastard Child."

Here's a rare Mustang. 1967 390 GT. Not so rare. But this one has the Competition Handling Package:
  • -Gabriel adjustable shocks with Ford parts number
  • -15 inch wheels and Firestone sport car 200 tires
  • -tires rated at 140mph
  • -galaxy hubcaps with red ford centercaps
  • - rearends could be open or closed and were not limited to a specific ratio
  • -different springs front and rear.
https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0123-53...t-convertible/

The cost was $388. If you wanted to order a HiPo 289 in your 67 Mustang, you had to buy the CHP. That's why so few 67 Mustangs were sold with the K code 289. Total cost for engine and CHP was over $800.

The CHP was standard on the 67 Shelby Mustangs.

Lee, most of the pics you've been posting for days now no longer fit on my screen, I have scroll side to side to see them. Wondering if it is a change you made, or something that came with my last Firefox upgrade ??
Thanks

How big is your monitor?

When I did that "How big is your monitor " Poll, I realized that most here had larger than 21" monitors. So I expanded the size of many of the photos I was posting. This was right after I had bought a 27" monitor to replace my dead 21".

Before it died a 1280x720 image would fill my screen. Now it barely fills half. So I moved up to about 1750x1000.

There have been a few that went too big. I try not to let that happen. If it does, I will usually delete it right away, then adjust the size to fit properly and repost it. But a few did escape my sight.

This one is 1710x963. Can you see all of it without using the side to side slider bar?

LT1vette 10-28-2022 01:35 AM

No Lee. It's too big.
Can you stay on top of this stuff...LOL
How are we supposed to get through the day having to re-adjust our screens....

YOUR pics are my highlight of the day, along with many other forum members
Thx 100X

Too Many Projects 10-28-2022 03:36 AM

No on the test pic. I still have a 21" screen...:frown:

Same here.

Lee Stewart 10-28-2022 06:30 AM

If you have Amazon Prime all three John Wick movies are available to watch through Prime Video. They are high violence shoot-em-up movies.

While John Wick may not be your flavor, Keanu Reeves (JW) seems like a cool dude and is a gear head! Check out his motorcycles!

dustinm 10-28-2022 03:42 PM

Lee thanks for making them smaller again and especially thanks for everything you post. Its one of my highlights.

Agree. I hit the "thanks" button multiple times but only one showed up (Ha!).

I'd like to see a red pinstripe on it, though.
