Million dollar houses.

Of course what that doesn't show is that half the million dollar houses in SF are about 1100 square feet.

Something like this, that would sell for $110k to $120k in Oklahoma City.

The real reason green peppers taste so different from the red, yellow, and orange varieties is that green peppers aren't ripe before people pick them, according to Good Housekeeping. Since these peppers aren't ripe, they have a more harsh, almost bitter taste in comparison to the other, sweeter peppers.

In 1923, jockey Frank Hayes took off on his horse, Sweet Kiss, at Belmont Race Track on Long Island, New York. Mid-race, Hayes suffered a heart attack and died. But Hayes’ body stayed in the saddle as Sweet Kiss was the first to cross the finish line, and Hayes had officially won the race. This was the only time in sports history in which a competition was ever won by a deceased person.

Superman Didn’t Always Fly

The original comic book Superman could leap tall buildings in a single bound—but then he had to come right back down to earth, because he didn’t fly.

It wasn’t until the 1940s, when animators for a new cartoon show decided it would be too difficult to routinely draw him bending his knees, that it was decided Superman could simply take off into the air. The audience got to see smooth animation and a superhero gained a new power.

An unusually large pink diamond sold for $50 million (about 50.4 million Swiss francs) Tuesday at Christie's auction house in Geneva.

The 18.96-carat Pink Legacy went under the hammer as part of the annual Magnificent Jewels auction and attracted a huge amount of interest due to its large size and impressive color grading.

Pink Legacy is categorized as a "Fancy Vivid" diamond, the highest grade of color intensity. Only 1 in 100,000 diamonds receives the grading.
