No shortage of 67 Chevelle Super Sport hoods in the wild . . . they're all on 67 El Caminos! Too bad that isn't the case with the ultra rare 1967 SS427 hood

Is there a difference in the SS 396 and the SS 427 hoods?

The main color is Bamboo Cream (Y). Not sure the vinyl top was available back in 1965.

Except for lack of body stripes this Chevelle gets so many things right. Panel and trim fit is excellent with moldings in the right placement. Correct wheels, front trim black-out is right, even wiper arm orientation is at spec.

I saw the Chevelle at MCACN a few years ago and spoke with the original owner, stunning restoration! - Bill W

The normal headlamps were not much better.

My '31 Ford, with a 6V electrical system, provided a nice warm orange glow which allowed other drivers to see you (presumably) but not much else.

We still elected to limit our driving to daylight hours.

Like the 1972 Chevelle Super Sport, the BB engine was an option, not standard. This 442 has a 350 in it.

IMO . . . the ultimate daily driver muscle car: 1969 ZL1 Camaro replica. It's got the Anniversary all aluminum 427 in it. 4 speed, PFDB and PS. What else do you need?
