LOL! I remember seeing this ad back in the 1960s and thinking - I'd like to try that. So I bought some - poured it over ice - OK - a bit too beefy so I took a wedge of lemon and squeezed that into the glass and volia' - PERFECT. To this day It's one of my favorite summer time drinks. Just can't drink as many as I used to because the amount of sodium per drink is literally off the chart. |

I collected “Original” unbuilt models years ago and several of Ed Roth customs. The Box art and decals are way cool in these old vintage models. |

What am I? I'm a 1970 Duster 340. But I have hood scoops from a 1970 Coronet R/T/Superbee and the hood decal from the 1971 Duster 340 but it's way too low on the hood because of the scoops. Yikes! |

Yes - Sox and Martin raced for Mercury. But their contract was up. While negotiating a new one, Chrysler got wind that they would be available. A meeting was set up. When asked what issues they had with the Mercury contract it was made known that Mercury wouldn't give them each a car for the season. Only one to be split between them. Chrysler said " We can easily fix that. You guys pick whatever car you want to drive from our Chrysler/Plymouth/ Dodge inventory." That sealed the deal and Sox & Martin moved over from Mercury to Chrysler. The rest is history. |

This one and the previous one are listed as the most expensive US made cars ever sold at auction. We are talking $5M to $7M and they are not even close to #1 ($22M) |

In 1968 Carroll Shelby opened the Sky Terrace motel and restaurant at the southern Basin of Lake Tahoe. Located near a popular ski resort it featured a heated pool, free cable TV and a bar called the Snake Pit. Shelby also owned a cabin on the shores of Lake Tahoe, he sometimes piloted a Cessna from Texas, and he also opened the Lake Tahoe Basin’s first Ford dealership. |

The Homer Hadley Bridge is part of I-90 crossing Lake Washington near Seattle. This is a floating bridge BTW. The only one (??) part of the USA interstate system. |

All shores on the California and Nevada side are unbelievably beautiful. I see a couple Mustangs, of coarse and looks like Heavenly Valley ski resort in the background. |
