There's a story about this Cuda. I believe it was part of the Rapid Transit System dealer caravan (as seen here) and got stolen.

Not sure where the Impala pic below is from, but the Suburban/Pickup photos are from my alma mater, Chevrolet Flint Assembly, which built pickups on Line 1 and Blazer/Suburban on Line 2.

Flint is still in operation today, building full size Chevrolet and GMC pickups.

That is a 1966 year plate.

Vince Piggins was working on the Z28 before the introduction of the Camaro in September 1966.

Ford through Shelby had fielded 2 Mustangs as did Mercury with their 2 Cougars in SCCA 1966. Piggins was determiined to show the racing world that the Camaro was superior to both the Mustang and the Cougar.

He cobbled up a car - possibly the one already shown and gave Pete Estes a ride and explained his plans for the 1967 SCCA races. Estes was 100% on board and thus was born the Z28.

BTW . . . there's a new Barbie & Ken movie coming out soon.

There actually aren’t “57 varieties” of Heinz ketchup, and never were. Company founder H.J. Heinz thought his product should have a number, and he liked 57.

German chocolate cake doesn’t come from Germany. It was named for a person, Sam German, who created a type of baking chocolate for Baker’s in 1852.

Almost all commercially grown artichokes, 99.9 percent, come from California. One town in particular, Castroville, is nicknamed “the Artichoke Capital of the World.”

Sorry Keith - I have no idea where the other 1/10 of 1% is grown.

The teddy bear is named after President Theodore Roosevelt. After he refused to shoot a captured black bear on a hunt, a stuffed-animal maker decided to create a bear and name it after the president.

And every one of them presumably was a highly motivated, industrious, athletic individual.

My take away from this: Let's all chill out a bit, ok?
