Notice the rear spoiler which didn't make it into production for the 1967 Camaro (all models). |
A health update:
Well I finally saw my doctor this past Wednesday. And the news is not too good. Having COVID has left me with Oxygen depleted blood. My O2 level is not where it's supposed to be. Not even close. So I am on the O2 machine in my bedroom 24/7. I have my PC and a decent TV so it's not like home jail. I can disconnect myself when I go to the kitchen but being off the O2 definitely wears me out very quickly. So my son (God Bless him) does all the shopping and anything needed outside of the home. I've lost 12 pounds since my ordeal started (Yippee!) but my appetite is slowing coming back. I did some monkeying around with the O2 hoses they gave me so now I have one that reaches not only anywhere in my bedroom but also into my bathroom. That helps alot. The doctor says be positive about healing but it's going to take time - like months. That sucks because I can no longer drive my car. I can but it requires I put this big O2 tank in the back seat so I am on O2 while driving - not worth the effort. Oh well. |
Sorry to read this, Lee. Hoping your condition will continue to improve more quickly than the Docs expect.

Same here Lee, sorry to hear but good to know your lad's on the scene and hope you're feeling better soon! Would an extra O2 Tank left in the car be possible w/ quick connect or its own top end parts?:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |

It takes about 30 minutes (each way) for the visit. Too long for me to be without O2 as we discovered last week when my "number" dropped too low. I'm supposed to be at 90 (normal) but I registered at 70. I'm sure all of you have seen one of these at one time or another: https://i.postimg.cc/NGNWgqD6/blood-oxygen-levels1.jpg |

Lee....just a thought, have you looked into the small portable machines that generate oxygen? I've seen them advertised on TV, they're not very big, about the size of a womans purse, and run on battery power so you're free to go where ever you want. Supposedly covered by insurance and Medicare as well. May be a good alternative for you until you're healed and don't need oxygen any more. |

Plus - maybe you could do the "purge" out your nose, for a cool effect. In all seriousness - get better, and thank you for all you do. K |

As you know, Fort Knox is located within an army base. So is Fort Knox guarded by the U S Army? No. Fort Knox is guarded by the U S Mint Police, one of the oldest federal law enforcement agencies. It was established in 1792. Only one US president has ever set foot within Fort Knox - the president who commissioned it's building: President Franklin D. Roosevelt commissioned the construction of Fort Knox in the mid-1930s, reportedly because the Treasury worried that U.S. gold reserves weren't safe from an enemy invasion. He traveled to Fort Knox to make an inspection in 1943, about seven years after construction on the vault was completed. |

Were you a fan of the 1960's TV show THUNDERBIRDS? If you were then you probably remember the phrase: F.A.B. So what did it stand for? The answer: Nothing. It was simply an invention of the creator Gerry Anderson coming up with a cool way to acknowledge a communication. Like COPY or ROGER. |

The original 1960s TV show used puppets like all of the Gerry Anderson TV shows from that era like STINGRAY, CAPTAIN SCARLETT & SUPERCAR. If you are an Amazon Prime member they have a new "CGI" show. Great for grand kids or just us old guys who remember our childhood. They also have this show too: https://i.postimg.cc/qv19LVP1/0a.jpg |

As nice as they may look, no Charger Daytona came from the factory with the "recall wheels" which were all recalled and the option cancelced months before the Charger Daytona went into production. They were available on the Charger 500 though. https://i.postimg.cc/JzKG507S/00.jpg These are not original wheels. They are repop wheels. The originals used trim rings. These do no not. |
