(lol) My buddy Scott and I have a running joke: Me: Is that that one track, kinda out in the boonies, you drive through a bunch of corn fields and then take a left on this little dirt road.... Scott: That could be anywhere. K |

Somebody had borrowed them and used them to set the clearance on a sheet metal stamping die. I still have them. K |

Though not correct, the body colored wheels do look nice on this 68 442. That became an option for the 1971s |

Of of those Muscle Car "conundrums" - Olds put 15" wheels on the Hurst/Olds but never offered them as an option. The 442 was always (1969 - 1972) hampered with nothing but 14" wheels. |

Triple Black 1969 RAIV GTO Judge Convertible. It was part of a famous car collectors inventory. He also owned that Aqua LS6 (no cowl induction) convertible. His name escapes me. |

Did Yenko Chevrolet offer the Spyder Mags as an option on the Deuce? I 've seen photos of a number of them with these wheels. |

Wasn't this a member's car before it went to auction and brought a zillion dollars? |

1 of 2 known 1970 W30 442s with Stripes Delete. The other one is a metallic Tan color. |

The last use of the Ford 427 - 1968 Cougar GT-E. Ford was well aware of the more stringent emissions requirements. And the solid lifter version required routine matenience under the hood. If this was ignored, emissions climbed. So they removed the issue. Went to a hydralic camshaft. And pulled the teeth out of their 427. And so went the ultra-high compression along with it. Interesting to note that the original ads for the GT-E said the car came standard with FR-70 WSW radial tires. Unfortunately the tire manufacturer was having an issue and this never came to pass. |

Always liked the chrome reverse wheel covers Mercury offered on their Comets. But wasn't this styling que (chrome reverse wheels) more of a 1950s feature rather than 1960s? |
