It might even be just a mockup (not a complete driving or trimmed out vehicle). The Volt I posted on the studio patio the other day was a fiberglass buck. I'm not sure what material you would use to mock up a fiberglass production vehicle (...steel? lol). K |

Just noticed that tomorrow is my seniority date: June 11, 1979.
It was 43 years ago tomorrow that I started at GM. K |

This is a 1966 Charger. Dodge didn't offer Redline tires in 66. But in 67, they came standard if you ordered the new 440 in your Charger |

Again a 66 Charger. This one has the Hemi so it should have the Blue Streak tires |

An early 1966 Hemi. It's got the correct tires. Plymouth initially didn't use the same engine callout emblem that Dodge did (426/HEMI). Plymouth called their's an HP2: Hemi Powered Plymouth. Here's the emblem: https://i.postimg.cc/qRWXGqGS/0.jpg I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) that Plymouth switched over to the Dodge emblem sometime in January. |

There was a big cleansing to get rid of the older mechanical engineers and replace them with younger electrical engineers, to help prepare for gm's new direction, and I got caught up in that net. It has worked out really well though. I like to say that retirement "was the best decision I never made". K |
