Indeed, well Job Ryan....now I know why you left my party so early!

You should have done as Stephen Minore did.....Thanked everyone that helped out, Minore did it in 4-5 pages....Ryan would have done it in 20 pages minimum :)

I wanted to stay at Dan’s party at Joe’s so bad but I made some inaccurate time assumptions and ended up trying to do two things at once. I had a great time at the party and then had a great time at the V8TV MCACN afterhours live. My family, the Stagers, and the MSU “students” stayed for the Hemi Under Glass start up.

I am happy with the interview, I wasn’t to hard on the hard top guys.....

Wow! I hear crickets....this thread is silent, your home PC, your Laptop, your Smart Phone must all be Freaking Out!
The Olds is finished, and we may never see another picture again :-)

Dan

Ryan1969Chevelle 12-09-2018 05:24 PM

I am taking a break till after Christmas, then I will finish the 40 details I hid from the public at MCACN.

:-)

I am getting pretty excited to drive it!!!

A friend sent details of a 70 almost exactly the same story as mine, Canadian sold, parked in 75, 4 speed, green.... I wish I had a huge shop!!!

Ryan W31

Postsedan 12-09-2018 05:31 PM

The exact same story.....I doubt that.....the world is not ready for another Ryan type Thread :)
You're not good any hiding a thing :)

Dan

Does this car have the original paint still on it? The color reminds me of my 1969 Chevelle Fathom Green, it has to be the same color. Great looking car, I will have to go back and look at all the thread on this car.

Nope.

Al had the car painted completely in 1972... ish. Small hit from behind and Al wanted the stripes removed.

Since the car is now finished, do you think you will find another car to work on? I love these kinds of threads watching a car get restored.

I really really really want to do another project!! I have no space, no money, and no approvals so there will be a delay......

I want to build a low cost Sports Coupe on a convertible frame, just a driver with a 6 banger 3 speed standard, just to drive.... I want to try driving an old car everyday and get away from new cars that depreciate and suck!!

Ryan W31

PS: My kids want to learn to drive a standard transmission car so they can drive my Cutlass :-)

A nice Christmas gift arrived yesterday, Terry Tenomme used my MCACN pictures to make an article about the 10th Anniversary.

Naturally several pictures included my car and I was especially happy to see the Stagers and my family photo

My loving wife spoiled me this Christmas!!

She had a coffee table book made about my Cutlass, and it is awesome!!!

Just to top that gift off she bought me B32, B33 floor mats from Fusicks.

To further shower me in gifts, she got a vintage looking Sunoco sign at MCACN for the garage wall.

Usually I overgift but this year she went crazy :-)

Awesome wife you have there Ryan. May we ask where she had the book done? I am guessing on line with a program that is readily available. I have always thought about doing one of these for each customer when their car is completed. Would be a great closer.
