He's not, when you have a brand new 1966 Corvette, who needs a Bicycle?

LOL. Good point.

Just to make sure I am clear, it's a '65 model year car, is it not? (built just prior to July 23, 1965 calendar year).

In the Brothers Collection. The only known 1972 440+6 Road Runner. It also has a powered sunroof.

Rare colour combo for a LT1. White LT1's are few and far between, roadsters even rarer.

I had a 70 LT-1 roadster. It was painted red but an original white car. Dad had a base engine 71 roadster painted black but an original white car. A theme here I guess.... That one is gorgeous.

I can't remember the specific numbers for LT1's. But Black was not available.

I think Orange, Green, Blue (2 shades) White, Red, Yellow (2 shades) Gray, Silver.... The numbers are for 1972.

First 20 Vettes delivered to Canada in 72 were painted War Bonnet Yellow, as a dealer promotion.

LT1's seem to come in the "common" colours for some reason. LT1 roadsters are fairly rare too

My friend in college bought a new 1970 LT1 convertible - White with a black interior.

Wonder if..... Mine was a white with black interior car. Only 12XX and some ish LT1 convertibles in 1970.

Your friend's insurance agent might still have the VIN if he'd care. I've seen my old car for sale on line within the last couple of years.

I haven't seen Chuck since college - 50+ years ago.

Chuck's family owned a trucking company. When he shifted a manual - he didn't use the clutch - and never had an issue.

I remember seeing him do it for the first time in a 1969 442. To say he had "balls" was an understatement.
